Description & configuration
This used Schulz-Electronic DC power supply is described as a system of three HMA 20 kW units, type HMA 60-350, with an output range of 0–60 V and 0–1050 A. It is offered to business customers for testing, development and laboratory applications.
Design and applications
The HMA series was developed for practical applications with straightforward operation. Five control options support different operating requirements. Its double-current overload capability is intended for demanding loads, particularly in automotive applications. According to the series description, each 20 kW unit can provide up to 40 kW of DC output for ten seconds.
The series description covers interconnection of up to six power supplies for 20–120 kW, with an extended range up to 240 kW. These figures describe the capabilities of the product family, not additional equipment included in this offer. Interlock, inhibit and overvoltage detection form part of the described safety concept.
